Identify:
Interests/priorities of the congregation within the 12 social issues defined by LAMPa.
Directory of interested members in order to mobilize participants and direct them to relevant activities and actions.
Resources within the congregation which can be utilized for advocacy.
Resources within localities: Network with other religious and secular organizations for guidance, to pool resources, and to create a community around our goals.
Educate:
Invite speakers/organizations to present to congregational groups on relevant issues.
Activate:
Invite UDLC members to participate and learn with us as we engage in actions to further our mission.
Actions may include writing to, calling, or visiting elected officials; attending rallies or vigils; sharing information with congregation and community related to actions and events in support of our mission.
We seek to support the congregation’s ability to live out our faith in a meaningful way through action.
