Rev. Keith Anderson
Pastor

Pastor Keith Anderson (he/him) came to UDLC in 2012. He earned his M.Div. from Harvard Divinity School (HDS) and his S.T.M in Lutheran Studies from the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. Keith is a pioneer in digital ministry. He is the author of The Digital Cathedral: Networked Ministry in a Wireless World (Morehouse, 2015) and co-author with Elizabeth Drescher of Click2Save Reboot: The Digital Ministry Bible (Church Publishing 2018). Keith took a sabbatical called La Convivencia in 2019 where he explored pilgrimage, religious identity, and faith in the family. He is married to Jennifer, who is Jewish and also an HDS graduate. They have four children, Ellie, Finn, Dulcie, and Tess, and a golden retriever named Granger.

Deborah Jodrey
Faith Formation Director

Deborah Jodrey (she/her) joined the UDLC staff in June 2023. She oversees all ministries to children, families, and youth, and provides support to adult education programming. Deborah holds a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Christian Education and Formation degree with a Certificate in Women, Theology, and Gender from Princeton Theological Seminary. Deborah cares deeply about working alongside young people to cultivate spaces of safety, empowerment, and belonging. Deborah's free time is spent running into burning buildings as a volunteer firefighter, cuddling her pup, Marvel, and playing all the board games with friends and family.

Carol Evans
Music Director

Carol Evans joined UDLC as Music Director in 2018. She directs the Chancel Choir and Choral Scholars, and plays organ and piano at the 10:30 a.m. traditional service. Carol founded three children’s music groups at UDLC, covering singing, ringing, and chiming for pre-school to elementary students. For over 25 years, she has served as an Assistant Professor of Music at Gwynedd Mercy University. As Choral Director of the Voices of Gwynedd, VOG performed with John Rutter at Carnegie Hall and sang national anthems for the Phillies, Eagles, and Flyers. Carol holds a Master’s in Vocal Performance from Temple University and a Bachelor’s in Music Education from Wheaton College Conservatory. She recently received Gwynedd Mercy University's Distinguished Teaching and Outstanding Professor of the Year awards. Carol is married to professional flutist and composer Leslie Burrs; their daughter, Aryssa Leigh Burrs, is an award-winning mezzo-soprano.

Brynn Anderson
Pastoral Associate (Part-time)

Brynn Anderson (she/her) is a third-year M.Div. student at United Lutheran Seminary in Philadelphia. She grew up in Bethlehem, PA and is the youngest in a set of triplets. She received her B.A. in Religious Studies from the University of Pittsburgh with a minor in Chemistry and a Certificate in the Conceptual Foundations of Medicine. Brynn served as a fieldwork student at UDLC during her first year of seminary and is excited to be returning to the congregation. In her free time, Brynn likes to crochet, play video games, and hang out with her goofy cat Dublin.

Lizanne Kelly
Business Manager

Lizanne brings over 20 years of business and operations management experience, including roles as Business Manager for three congregations. Her expertise covers church operations, school/preschool support, facilities management, and fundraising, including organizing a parish carnival. She lives in North Wales with her dog, Charlie, and serves as Treasurer and Secretary of the St. Vincent de Paul Society at Our Mother of Consolation Parish, which aids those in need. Her hobbies include gardening, reading (she founded a book club 25 years ago), swimming, biking, knitting, and playing the piano.

Christy Willard
Administrative Assistant

Christy just recently joined the staff of UDLC. She is the friendly presence you encounter when you visit, call, or email the church office. She also prepares worship bulletins, slides, the weekly email, and other communications. Christy is a graphic designer by trade, but has also used her administrative, social media, photography, and video editing skills to support several non-profit organizations over the years. She is an advocate for childhood sexual abuse prevention and is a Board member and active participant in the women’s ministry, Women’s Walk With Christ. In her spare time, Christy loves kayaking, singing, and photography. Christy lives in Plymouth Meeting with her husband. They have two children and a furry black cat named Nullah.

Mo Redding
Property Superintendent

Mo Redding has been a member of UDLC since 2010. He joined the staff in 2016 as Property Superintendent and Caretaker of Rose Hill Cemetery.  Mo strives to maintain functionality and safety for the buildings and grounds, working with staff and members to address any issues or concerns.  He also works with funeral directors to assist families in times of need for services and burials at our all-denominational cemetery. Mo has worked in hospitality, construction, logistics, retail, home improvement, and electrical. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Restaurant and Institutional Management from The Pennsylvania State University. He is married to Susan who is a lector at our church and they have three children: Casey, Ava and Bodhi.

Kathleen Vega
Upper Dublin Christian Nursery School Director

Kathleen Vega has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and has rich experience in a Christian Nursery School setting as a parent, Lead Teacher, and Assistant to the Director. She has been trained in and has implemented PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support), an important foundation of our Nursery School program. She has taught preschool children of all ages and has extensive experience working with special needs children. Kathleen is a woman of faith who is quite involved in her church, St. Albert the Great. She loves teaching children about Jesus and has experience planning and leading Chapel in a preschool setting. Kathleen is from the Philadelphia area and lives with her husband and 3 children.

For the Spirit
Contemporary Christian Band

Our For the Spirit band members are Christy Evans, Doug Evans, Gary Sprague and Perry Wolfe. They have been leading our contemporary worship for many years, playing popular contemporary Christian songs as well as their own original music. Check out For the Spirit songs on their YouTube Playlist.
