Weekend Retreats

  • Our annual Fall Women’s Retreat for members and guests* offer an opportunity to surround yourself in the beauty of nature at Bear Creek Camp in Wilkes Barre in October.  Enjoy a fun-filled, get-away weekend with a relaxed focus on the nature of our faith through devotions, discussions, worship, and activities to foster friendships with other Christian women.

  • DLC’s annual Fall Men’s Retreat is a casual weekend of adventure for members and guests* at Bear Creek Camp in Wilkes Barre in September.  Weekend activities are focused on building closer relationships in the great outdoors with other Christian men while becoming comfortable with prayer, one’s faith and Bible study.

  • All women of the congregation are also invited to gather for a themed, One-Day Women’s Retreat at the church.  This annual event is a combination of full-group sessions, small-group discussions and casual fellowship. Our retreat provides many opportunities to enjoy and build deeper connections with existing friendships while fostering new relationships.

*Guests: Friends and family are welcome.
