Throughout the Catechetics Faith Journey, Pastors, Students, and Adult Leaders spend time learning, sharing, serving, and having fun while we grow in faith, knowledge, and discipleship together. The Course of Study is two years. Each year is divided into 3 terms: 10 Week Fall Session; Fall Retreat; 5 – 6 week Winter Session; 5- 6 week Spring Session.
The Catechetics 2-year scope & sequence of study is biblically inspired and understood from the perspective of Lutheran doctrine and theology, as shared in Luther’s Small and Large Catechisms with focus on Jesus’ life and journeys, God’s unconditional and abiding love and saving grace for all.
- Year A: 10 Commandments, Faith & Life, Worship & The Sacraments
- Year B; Lord's Prayer, Contemporary Faith Issues, Apostles' Creed.
Discipleship opportunities of Servant Projects and Worship Leadership enrich this wonderful faith journey! At the end of two years, students have the opportunity to affirm their faith and the baptismal vows their parents & sponsors made for them when they were younger.
