Al Douglass has been serving at UDLC since April 1995. A graduate of The Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia and a native of Northeast Philly, Al has been a pastor for over thirty-three years. He brings a deep commitment to evangelism and outreach, faith formation for all ages, preaching and drama, and marriage enrichment for the whole region! His family includes his wife Carol, two grown daughters, a grandson, Richie, and the church canine Golden Retriever, "Spirit!"

Dyan Lawlor, joined Pastor Douglas in November 2003. A native of St. Paul, Minnesota, Dyan graduated from Yale Divinity School, and has served churches in Southeast Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. She has a passion for evangelism, global missions and concerns, having traveled to Tanzania to help begin our partnership with a church there, teaching, preaching, and creative use of media and drama in worship. She and Rob Lawlor, a professional artist, were married in 2000. Dyan's canine-kid, Nibs comes to the office to assist in filing and typing often!
