Youth Ministry

UDLC Youth Ministry is a place for youth to connect with each other and with Jesus through Service, Mission Trips, Lock-Ins, Pop-Up Events, or Sunday School. The Youth of UDLC stay connected through bounds developed just being in fellowship with each other. Friendships are found. New talents discovered, but most of all it is a chance to get to know yourself.

Our program is for youth in grades 6 through 12. We spent time building relationships and having fun. When people get to know people, the rest will follow.

Our youth ministry is involved in Southeasten PA Synod Youth Events, summer trips with Appalachia Service Project, we work with Chosen 300, and Bed for Kids, and every three years we attend the National ELCA youth Gathering.

The Youth Ministry Program at UDLC is built on a firm foundation that we all have busy lives, but that in order to center ourselves and find that calm spot, we sometimes need to start with our friends and the people we know. That is what we hope Upper Dublin Lutheran Church's Youth Ministry brings. A place where no matter how the world may want to label you, at UDLC your just one of the youth! If you want to know some great teens in the Upper Dublin, Ambler, Wissahickon, North Penn, Chalfont, or  Hatboro/Horsham  area this is one of the best places to check in!

Senior Youth Group

Sunday Evenings and Events Throughout the Year

8th through 12th graders come together to connect with each other and with Jesus Christ. Monthly evening events, service projects (Appalachia Service Project and Helping Hands Day) and retreats are a few of the gatherings we offer our teens and their friends. Jr. Varsity and Varsity groups join together on the 2nd and 3rd Sundays of each month; we eat dinner together and then take part in either a combined or group specific event.

Helping Hands of Upper Dublin

Helping Hands is a volunteer community outreach program that was established in 2011 as an extension of our Appalachia Service Project (ASP) program. It is a way to support our local community in simple but helpful ways. These jobs are typically discovered by word of mouth through the congregation and reviewed by the adult committee. The jobs must be safe and able to be supported by youth and non-professionals. The goal is to bring the experience of ASP to our hometown while providing support throughout the year to those in need.
