The Rev. Dr. Timothy Wengert

Renowned Luther Scholar to Speak at UDLC

The Rev. Dr. Timothy Wengert

Tuesday, February 21st

7:30 PM in the Son Room

Whether you are a life long Lutheran, recently became a Lutheran, or if you are just wondering what all the hype about Martin Luther and the 500th celebration of the Reformation is all about, you do not want to miss this.

We are delighted to announce that UDLC will host an evening with The Rev. Dr. Timothy Wengert. Dr. Wengert is very much in demand throughout the entire country but graciously agreed to be with us. He is by far a renowned scholar on Martin Luther, the author of over 30 books; and Ministerium of Pennsylvania Emeritus Professor of Church History at the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia. Dr. Wengert, a dynamic presenter, will provide an overview of Martin Luther's (and Lutheranism's) basic teachings. He will share with us that through justification by Faith alone we freely receive God's grace as we meet Him at the foot of the Cross where He came down to us! Mark your calendar for this wonderful opportunity to begin our celebration of our Lutheran faith and heritage. Please sign up in the Narthex.
